If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or struggling with relationships, work, or life changes, counselling may help. It’s also beneficial if you want personal growth or clarity in decision-making.

What types of counselling do you offer?

We offer individual counselling, couples therapy and family counselling. We also provide support for specific concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and stress management.

How long does a counselling session last?

Sessions typically last 50–60 minutes. Some specialized therapy sessions may be longer.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies from person to person. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others benefit from longer-term support. Collaboratively we will work with you to determine what suits your needs.

Do you offer online counselling?

Yes, we offer virtual (Zoom) and phone counselling for those who prefer remote sessions.

Do you offer Medicare Rebates/Private Health Care Rebates for counselling sessions?

Daisy offers Medicare rebates under the Mental Healthcare Plan. Jude is registered with most Private Health Care funds. Please check with your provider.

Is counselling confidential?

Yes, everything you share is confidential, except in situations where there is a legal or ethical duty to report (e.g., harm to yourself or others).

What should I expect in my first session?

Your first session is an opportunity to share your concerns, ask questions, and set goals. Your counsellor will explain the process and work with you to develop a plan.
